No, they are on a shoal, ankle deep. We boat in from the other part of the lake and fish the drop offs in the bay. Its an odd spot, both shallow and deep, cold water in one place.
Fish off one side of the boat, you get small mouth, large mouth, sunfish and perch. Fish off the other side of the boat, and you might get lake trout.
