---My hands hurt at the touch of the strangely textured metal. The rust-like substance of the door spinning lock opposed my pushes and pulls and getting it to move was as painful as frustrating it was to find out I spin it the wrong direction.
Guess I lost a chunk of my patience and logic to the desert... After a better glided spin to the right, instead of left, the large door moved and gave entrance at last. Struggling some more sealing it closed behind me, before I face the change of location.
The indoors of the building seemed to be larger than I imagined them to be. It was an abandoned ship stop station, an old one. The long corridor structure was a design that the SSU(solar system union) of this area lost interest in before I've even left Terra Sonalis for the first time.
It was long, and dark. Very dark. Perhaps most of it covered by dunes, denying access for any light and giving it such camoufage. I mean, if I haven't fell on that beast-of-a-lock hitting my head I probably would never notice even the revealed parts of the station from outside.
The sound of the storm howling outside echoed in distorted patterns through the empty hall. It may have attempted to shoo me away with a scare, but I knew better. The switchless power system shook the walls the moment it sensed my presense.
The lightning of the plasma veins twitched and flickered - confirming suspicion for age and quality of the discovered construction. It wasn't the most reliable hideout from the weather, but it would keep a guest alive unlike the threatening darkness taking over.
A shelter nevertheless. As the plasma veins kept spreading through the building, they revealed glowing runes. Summoned seats? A blessing too good to be true! Truly whoever watched over my soul decided to show real kindness,
and oh, how much was I grateful to rest my limbs.. Activating a table, and taking a seat, all was left is to gain patience, and wait. You surely know the first rule of action when getting lost: stay in place, let others find you.
At least, that's the one I believed would be best to follow - or maybe that was the exhaustion twitching my bones and demanding to stop.
waiting..
waiting, waiting.
"Embrace it. There are no paths to follow, no roads, no routes, no map - when you reach true freedom of choice.
Freedom on its clearest form is the desert... ..... ......
