Hey folks! So, per usual, after being absent from here for over a year, I decided to share a little bit of what's going on and where to find me if I don't happen to return here.

Since the last journal I've written, which was.. January 2024, apparently (damn): My partner and I are finally at our last steps towards immigration and leaving our current country of residence for good.
Had to practically leave my local freelance job as a Graphic Designer since working with local customers and currency has become a major determent to upkeep. The AI boom has also made it incredibly difficult to find work in that field. Most of the companies and organizations I've done contract jobs for years, have preferred to switch to GenAI, which I refuse to even associate with, let alone work with.

Thus, I'm shifting my efforts and new schedule into illustration work and commissions, for the time being. We also had some very significant, difficult, events in our personal lives during the last year. Those have taken a lot of our time and resources to focus on, which made us both spend less time online overall.. But, we're relieved to shake most of it off and leave it past us. 2025 was a lot, so we're looking forward to the fresh calendar with great relief and excitement for our plans onward.

I admit that I have been lurking around here, too. I have even considered to start a brand new account ( Juleteon ) and start over with a fresh new page, instead of attempting to keep up to chronologically fill in the gaps of all the art that I haven't uploaded here. Furaffinity does have a very slow upload process. Having to upload each piece one by one rather than in bulk has made this rather tedious and inefficient. What do you think about it? Since I haven't used FA in so long, I don't really know to weight in the cons and pros of such a decision and would love to hear your opinion!

edit: Thanks to the introduction to PostyBird, I've scheduled and organized queued posting of all my works of 2025 in chronological order, hopefully that'll help to sort things up and keep this account going!
