Their parents always had a turbulent relationship, nights full with shouting, cursing, and accusations of incompetence, stress that ultimately prompted their father to pack his bags and leave the family shortly after Rose was born. In a household lacking a father figure, their mother had to work overtime to provide for her two daughters and with little family support, Axl was left taking the role of mother in her sister’s development, always being there for her. Even though their lives might take different turns, they will always be there for each other.
