This is the High Grade 1/144 Ogre GN-X. :) This is the first kit I’ve gotten from the Build Divers line, and I think this thing looks totally badass. I chose this to be my first kit from this line because I thought it looked just awesome when I saw the first pictures of it released, and even more awesome when it made it’s debut in the Gundam Build Divers anime series. Given the cool design of this one, I probably would have found myself buying it even if I hadn’t been watching the anime. :D But yeah, definitely one of the coolest looking mobile suits in the Build Divers series thus far.
This kit does come with a sticker decal sheet, but I only actually used one of the stickers since I found that it would be a longer lasting solution to paint the parts that the stickers would have gone on. Yes, that includes the eyes. I think the Gunpla building gods were with me on that one, since I managed to paint the eyes without messing them up. Panel lining this one was pretty easy. One building tip I have to offer is that when building the swords, add a very tiny bit of glue to the bits that are going to hold the blade in place. The blades have a very annoying tendency to wobble around because of the loose fit of the pegs that hold them in place. By adding a tiny bit of glue to those pegs, you’ll ensure that the blades aren’t going to wobble around. This isn’t something you HAVE to do, as the blades aren’t going to fall out of the hilts if you don’t glue them. They’ll stay in the hilts just fine without glue, but they’ll wobble around a lot while you’re handling them.
