When he slowly unlaces his boots one at a time and sets them to the side, just for a moment he stands there wriggling his toes in socks as he looks down at his feet. Taking a seat he puts his feet up on the table, still wriggling his toes inside his socks. Slowly he pulls off one sock and then the other, flicking them aside. Distracted as you are, it's only now that you see the feather, the one you remember from earlier and wasn't he the one that put that feather there. His feet are so near to that feather....and he gives you this look...
