well to get a good blood flow through the whole body the naga/lamia in question would need a pretty big heart to pump blood to both ends of their bodies so would it really make sense to have a tail that long? or am I overthinking this?
Normal snakes, including much larger ones, don't seem to have much of an issue in that regard, but yes, being as massive as that would definitely require a bigger and more powerful heart.
ist cus there cold blooded and there vascular system is built for slower longer pumps of the heart. unlike worms that need like 7 mini hearts just to function.
