The bathroom door opened a few minutes later and out stepped Sly wearing a new outfit. A black jacket adorned his shoulders over a red shirt. And a silver belt buckle glinted over black pants. He was still fiddling with the brown wig that sat on his head. “I hate this wig.” he muttered as he tugged on it a few more times. When he was finished, he checked himself and picked up the prop weapon he was bringing along. “How do I look?” he asked as he stopped just short of entering the living room. Pearl was sitting on the couch and turned to see her adoptive younger brother standing there posing with a baseball bat slung over his shoulder.

Pearl stared at him for a moment, tilting her head a few times in different directions as she pondered what she was looking at. “Nope. Sorry. Can’t place it. Who are you going as?” she asked sheepishly.

“Oh come on Pearl. I know you don’t watch a lot of anime, but you’ve seen this one. I’m Takashi from Highschool of the Dead.” said Sly slumping a little.

“Oh! Is that the zombie one you two were watching about five years ago now? The one full of fan service?” she asked tapping her fist on her hand in realization.

“Yeah…That one.” replied Sly thinking back on some of the scenes from the series. His expression spoke of blatant perverse thoughts.

“Bring it back horndog. So why are you deciding to cosplay that series now? Why’d you wait?” asked Pearl next.

“Well we were waiting for the second season that was announced years ago. But we can’t really deny it anymore. There won’t be a second season.” said Sly solemnly.

“Sadly. I remember actually liking the show myself. So if you’re going as Takashi, is Sakura going as Rei?” asked Pearl curiously.

“Nope!” came the pink vixen’s voice from the other doorway now. Both Sly and Pearl turned to see their younger sister standing in her outfit now.
