Fae gets her first more advanced lessons in enchanting from Sivath as she demonstrates how to make inanimate objects come to life as well as how to undo such magic and how to spot the difference between enchantments and possession. While starting small with a teacup Sivath lectures her apprentice about the safety precautions one should take when doing this sort of thing, as well as go over the risks of giving the object too much intelligence or free will allowing it to turn against it's creator with no safety measures in place.

It seems Sivath is rather eager to teach, or maybe she's just happy to have some company and an assistant without having to call on some adventurer like Root to fetch her some ingredients or something. On the other hand though it might make some things a bit more difficult such as hiding her secrets.
