That's kinda common among Saiyan heroes like Goku, honestly. "Maybe you'll come to understand how precious life is!"...he says to the last super villain he ever tried to spare. All the rest he was fine with blowing up, smiling all the while.

yens anger/pride gets the better of her when she's on edge. xD
flowey did just try to kill her. after being thrown into a garage and being misjudged by the very person who saved her last time.
G really hasn't hurt her up to this point so she really don't have a reason to attack him aside from what she thinks might happen and she don't wanna find out, shes stubborn.

unfortunately, like Vegeta, she has little faith in people who truly want to be bad ever giving in and becoming good, cause of her previous experiences with those same types that would rather die than turn over a new leaf.

yen is a frim believer in living so the subtle hint drop of attempted suicide kinda softened her up a bit she's jus been assuming he was a bad guy this whole time! ah oooh
