A monster for Wild Blue Yonder (another Pathfinder setting I'm working on because I hate myself).
Arrowheads are tiny diplocauloid amphibians native to the Deep Woods, with the multitude of species occupying all levels of the great forest. Many have cryptic habits and colouration, while others like this Gilded Arrowhead can secrete a toxic mucus that induces nausea if ingested. The function of their wedge-shaped heads varies from species to species - some use it as an expanded surface area to breathe, others have hardened and elaborately styled "antlers" for attracting mates, and others aid in camouflage. Gilded Arrowheads use it as an airfoil, since they can channel residue in order to "swim" through the air, using their rudder-like tail for propulsion.
