More tests with perspective and proportions for Rocco, I always try and keep him properly proportioned and all for his age. Anyway though, I decided to draw him playing pinball here which I think came out pretty nicely, nothing looks too large or small and I was able to do some more retro-cubby stuff too. In an era before video games (Well, Pong I guess and stuff like Spacewar!) I think Rocco would be pretty good at this. Could've doen better on his expression though I will admit, am I being too critical of myself?

We had a pinball arcade near me when I was in college, and there were two large arcades in the mall, that were mostly video games, but still had several pinball machines. They were very common while I was still in college, so I played them a lot. By around 1990, they were already starting to become scarce. One arcade in our mall, and the one near my college closed in the '90s. The last one in the mall closed in the early 2000s. By then, almost everyone was playing video games at home, and pinball was sort of forgotten. I always liked pinball better.
Interesting, I went to a few arcades when I was younger in the mid 2000's and by then there were really only video games and possibly maybe one pinball machine in a corner somewhere. I've never been a huge gamer myself so I assume I'd probably prefer pinball as opposed to video games, if only there were still machines about.
