Furry Weekend Atlanta's theme this year was "Galactic Gunslingers," which I absolutely loved. Immediately after learning about it I was inspired to do something directly related to it, and this was one of the characters that came from that brand new story setting I came up with based on the con's theme. This is Thistle Avery, a cyborg fennec fox and bounty hunter sporting advanced weaponry and plenty of sass to back it up.
I commissioned Gideon for a sketch of her, and I like the Galaxy Rangers cues he put into her design here. She came out just as badass as I'd hoped :D
