A recent group event has everybody taking a vacation in Jade's hometown, a secluded city that doesn't typically engage with the outside world beyond trade. Jade's Mom, a ditto, was rather surprised to see her daughter look so wildly different from the doduo she knew when she left the nest; she still had the multiple heads, but that was due more in part to lab shenanigans than to holdovers from her prior forms.

She was also happy to teach her how to fly. It wasn't the most dignified endeavor, but by the time her vacation was over, it was safe to say Jade got the hang of it.
