Cooner did such a great job of my "big guy" badge last year, I was keen to commission him to do a similar piece. Inspiration struck when I started attending a board games group who play numerous games based on the H.P. Lovecraft universe. I thought it quite hopeless and depressing to assume that his monster Cthulhu and the other "Great Old Ones" were destined to destroy the world as we know it, so I thought it would be great to commission a light-hearted piece showing "me" as being able to summon enough size and power to easily defeat Cthulhu!
