In a more serious Fantasy style setting, Loyse is a scribe/seeker of knowledge. She spends her time either in royal libraries recording down histories of kingdoms and events or travels the world in search of ruins, venturing out to abandoned areas to search for history and tomes or scrolls of things long forgotten. She doesn't have an exceedingly exalted position, nor is she powerful or strong. She simply collects and records information.
Because of this she is treated with some courtesy, with varying powers and individuals seeking her out to ask questions or buy certain scrolls. She naturally has no greater goal or purpose other than her innate desire to record as much history as she can manage in her short life span!
