So, I was looking through all my old music archives when I stumbled upon this.

This piece here was the very first musical thing I have ever written. I wrote this at the end of my eighth grade year, if memory severs me right.

I had just finished eighth grade and that summer my Dad took me to see the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra in concert. At the end of the concert they were handing out free copies of FinaleNotePad 2003. The next day, I decided to check out the software. It had horrible sounds and limited your number of instruments to four and your measures to 32, but all and all, not too bad for something that was free. It was really easy to use, just point and click where you want the notes to go. After several hours, I had this. Not bad for a first attempt, so I kept it up and have been writing ever since (with the exception of this past year, I've only just recently gotten back into writing).
