I know it has been over a month since Texas Furry Fiesta, but while there someone subjected this idea to me. He said I should run an adopt a deer program, deer sponsor program, and/or Patreon for the the critters. Along with them ideas, someone else said I should sell prints of them at the next con. Just wanted your take on them ideas?
The deer are doing fine for the most part, even though they have a Round Bale to eat at all time along with a twice a day feeding, they always seem hungry, but they aren't losing any weight.
Right now we are rebuilding the catch pin so I can start moving some out. Next month the bucks will be losing their racks and that is the best time to move them.
Ke’lier looks pretty rough during her shedding her winter coat. For the past few years I have noticed bald spots in her coat. Don't know if she is doing that or if one of the other does is being a little bit to aggressive when it grooming her. If she makes to the summer, she will be 22.
Deer like the smell of smoke, just lucky that they know better to not play in the flames.

Sponsorship might be a nice move! Although I guess then you need a public list of the deer and their names and photos and stuff? And probably to give annual updates on how that deer is doing? I know that's how places like Cairngorm reindeer centre in Scotland do their deer adoption programs
