"Roly-Polympics 2018: Winter Games: Mixed Doubles Curling"
Even though I'm a little behind schedule in posting a new 'fat furry' cartoon gag for my latest edition of "Fat Tuesday", I think my latest work is worth the weight... er, I mean wait!
Bringing you another in my series of new "Roly-Polympics 2018: Winter Games" gags, I've included one of the newer indoor events that was introduced in the RL 2018 Winter Olympics in South Korea: "Mixed Doubles Curling", where both male and female teammates work together to control the speed and aim of the (40-pound) stone - using special brooms to sweep the ice, as it slides down to the target area.
Now, ordinarily I'd provide the usual 'fat joke' at the expense of the corpulent competitors; but (for a change-of-pace) I'd decided to make these portly partners a married couple of cats - who are venting out their spousal frustrations by sweeping while they have an argument! (One of the inspirations is the reboot of the classic ABC-TV sitcom "Roseanne" - starring Roseanne Barr and John Goodman, as the husband-and-wife team whose arguments are monumental!) And while their big bellies bump each other, they each maintain the respective grips on their brooms (while trying to keep their paws off of each other's throats)!
