I worked way too much on a previous, extremely ambitious version of this piece before settling and going for a micro-scene instead. At least it's done and I don't have to continue bashing my head against the wall trying to work above my league.
I'm particularly eager for critique on this one, so let me know how I could improve next time I work on something like this. I'm especially looking for advice on conveying the third dimension and creating larger scenes.
