Here he is. It’s best boy, Likulau. Clouded Leopard cutie himself <3 <3 <3
Seriously, I love him so much. By far my favorite of the three cats in Nekojishi. As soon as I started the game I knew he was the one I wanted to focus on. I think that his design is so freaking cool with that black contrasting his bright yellow body, and that hood is aesthetic. His limited vocabulary and short sentences because of that was quite adorable. I just want to hug him so much.
This guy was pretty tricky to draw though. First of all, I tried blending the anime-esque style of the game with my own. Then there are all those clothes. They made drawing this take quite a while despite finishing the pose rather quickly. The tree was kind of hard as well. I owe one of my uncles for showing me this technique for doing leaves easily a while ago.
Since I drew Senpai and Likulau, I wanted to draw Guardian Tiger as well this month but time, business, and stress ruined my plans.
I would really like to draw Likulau again one day. I just hope that I still feel like it now that I’ve gotten to the end (well, one of them anyway)
