... Y'know... I usually avoid AIM Speak when I can talk normally... but... I can't express this quite normally... so... OMFGROFLMAO FTW!!!
So yes, I LOVE This list and think it is very funny. But you forgot about the babyfurs, herms, torture, vore, and other such freaky deaks. Oh, and MAYBE Therians... that third one kinda works... but I'm not sure.

Heh, I suppose so. Still, if you had based these off of anyone, I'd say the bear was a dig at him. =P Because he's well known for arguing quite a bit.
He's also a little grumpy, but I suppose trying to make a living as a webcomic artist would make anyone like that. Kinda stressful.

Are You? I noticed that the fox in the last panel has the same little chin scruffiness that your icon does.

I believe you are missing two squares for other groups not represented:
1) "I pretend to be a cute animal because I'm too horrible, fat, and disgusting in real life."

I always had a love of cartoon-animal shows and animal stories growing up and so wanted to make my own cartoons. When I discovered the internet, I used it (among many, many other things) to find OC animal art. Yerf became my favorite site for such. =^.^=
The users (a certain squirrel in particular) introduced me to the furry world, after which I decided to be a part of it. Simple.
I feel that, to some extent, I'm furry by default and not because I was told anything or wanted a tribe to belong to and identify with. I'd always loved to draw (despite the fact that I'm horrible at it), I like making up my own animal stories - some of which had repeating characters I used to represent myself and my outlooks/perspectives on life (fursona? lol), etc. I just found it neat that there was a huge group of persons with similar interests not being paid by Disney, WB, ect., to care.
In terms of the homosexual connotations affixed to 'furry', they're neither here nor there with me. Everything is defined as 'gay' these days - every thing from the clothes one wears to the way one butters toast. It doesn't mean anything.

This showed up on Encyclopedia Dramatica's page on Furry Fandom, and what they wrote was really insulting. They were horrible and ripped us apart. God, man, you should see it, it's horrifying! Then you should give them a piece of your mind. These bastards need to be taken off the net for good.

Nothing they do ever influences mainstream culture because Mainstream is 99% insipid fluff delvers who forget about all our furry vices the instant they're distracted by something more insipid such as LoLCats, Vampires who Sparkle, or Celebrities who make them feel smart by comparison.

...Real surprised I never commented on this one... Definite improvement on the original though which I still remember being one of the funniest things ever posted to the binaries usenet group. Pretty sure I'd be the guy in the Winger shirt, mainly b/c he said I was the only person to ever ask for his autograph. (it's still the only thing of value I ever got from a Con)
Okay, beyond Iller's harsh, overstated words on a truthful and relevant post I made a long time ago (that in no way was an insult to the artist or his work) here's a comprehensive look on what I really think of the picture:

someday science will make me more like with fur and pointy ears and a tail, AND i'm here for the art. important thing there's a little something for every fur, even railfan, model railroad, science fiction, and every other way i learn to meld technology with creativity.

So yeah, I know this has been up forever, and for some reason I never +faved or commented on it. Shame on me. I've loved this for ages. Hilarious and classic work. Humor with a heaping grain of truth to it is always so much more amusing. Thanks for the laugh, Nauv. I can come back to this one years later and I still get a chuckle.
