An item? Well, we're definitely not going to be able to catch him. Perhaps gifting something instead would be best? Could try and appeal to the inner hoarder in him to keep certain treasures.
Welp, just a silly introduction to a random wyvern-taur I received from the awesome Lizkay over on DA:, who never fails to impress me with her skill at drawing taurs! Couldn't resist the opportunity when her commission slots opened up x.x I don't really have a background for this guy at the moment, but I'm really really digging the concept for his form (also to include more diversity in my gallery with fully human-topped taurs instead of anthro ones). Still, had to add a small multi element to it by adding an extra tail! I'd also like to imagine that the neck/waist connection to the main body is pretty flexible. Think Smaug from the Hobbit and you get the idea! :D
Always open to suggestions on how to name him and to flesh out this character!

I think a great, and funny, backstory would be that originally this guy was once a human and a normal wyvern who were friends but they got caught in something magical that fused them together into this body. They'd probably even be fused together mentally as well so his personality is a perfect blend of human and wyvern. But because he remembers being two people it doesn't help with his mentality so he's a bit grumpy when trying to remember something from one side but instead remembers something from the other side. Also he wouldn't be that interested in becoming two separate people again since he enjoys the way he looks.

Unfortunately I'm not really a fan of merging, but I'm definitely always up for characters that used to be just regular, dull humans! Still, an interesting ideas as well! xD And I haven't really thought about mates though, thought that's usually because 2 character comms are usually out of budget!
Here's a modification for it: He was a human archaeologist who found some sort of magical talisman that would give him the power of a wyvern but he didn't realize it would start changing him into one. As the years go by his body, and mind, slowly becomes more wyvern like and lessening his humanity so he starts 'forgetting' that he was ever a human. Maybe by the time the picture takes place he's given up his human name and adopted a more wyvern style name?
I pretty much only mentioned a mate because of the thought of whether he'd be compatible with humans, draconic creatures or both.
