Ginkco is a herbalist by nature. It always fascinated him since he was young. His first experience with plants was on a dark night when even the moon was hidden. He had been playing in the forest with his friends and had become lost.

Alone and frightened he curled around his orb and lit it up. The soft glow removing some of his fear. It was then he saw some flowers. Their blooms opening slowly inch by inch in response to the light. It was oddly beautiful and he fell in love with those flowers.

Those plants saved him from his fear. Photoperiodism was what it is called and it took him a long time to understand how it worked. Tuberoses they were called and they bloomed by the light of the moon. His orb hadn't actually caused them to bloom he learned but the moment remained magical in his mind. The plants died not long after their blooms lasted only a few months.

Winter came and then spring and he took off into the world wanting to learn as much as he could about plants. Discovering how they not only looked beautiful but could heal people as well. He became a herbalist with this knowledge. His money going towards raising plants.
