We have two Lamancha doe goats. Both kidded around january. Which we sadly lost one. But the second one was a total monster since he plopped on the ground. Head butting, biting, and other crude acts. He was already getting horns at 2 weeks old. He was on the sale floor for a while. We had a buyer but they wanted him for a little girl, who had to have him banded. We decided to keep him after we lost the first lamancha kid. But with handling, the bada$$ little buck is now a total cuddlebug. He sits on my lap and is all too willing to just lay there and nap, soaking up the attention. Not sure why that happened all of the sudden, but he is 1 of 6 of my favorite 6 goat kids. Next to all the goats we have. LOL
Now if only I could get our little mini to be ok with the goats. She was introduced to early to a couple of not so nice goats, not my fauly, and she now has a bad taste about them.
Lamancha have such neat personalities. The two we have love to hang around people.

Yeah. That is how our Patches acts. She loves attention and will follow me everywhere. First and only goat that I have encountered that will rub their (her) face on mine kinda like cats do. Goats have crazy different personalities. We have a pygmy that is ridiculously hard to catch, she was a rescue. Once you have her tho, she is an attention sponge. But she also loves to chew on rubber hoses for some reason. The pesron we got her from said the goat wasnt right in the head. Other than her affinity to chewing on rubber, and her odd gestures when you find that one itchy spot on her spine, she is kinda normal lol.
