Now we're getting into the new characters. First up, Sir Bernard Thornton.

This hulking Ursa (bear race), is someone who's seen a lot in his life. As a cub, he trained diligently as a knight, and in time, proved himself worthy to join them. Unfortunately, many years of service, and countless victories in battle left him arrogant, and a lapse in his judgement led to a terrible tragedy. Disgraced by his mistake, he left in shame, retiring to a small village, becoming its guardian, in hopes of atoning.

Far from how he was in youth, he doesn't really brag about his achievements, feeling that they aren't as heroic as he once saw them as. In spite of his intimidating size and strength, and his generally cold and aloof disposition, he actually does care for others.

Despite his mistakes, he still sees himself as a Knight. While his heavy armor and muscle mass make robs him of agility, he more than make up for it with his strength, and his defensive ability.
