Dragon Before The Moon

Since I haven't updated or uploaded anything in a long time, breaking my promise to upload something once a week, here's a second upload in one day! Its of an old piece from back when I first started art school a couple of years ago which makes it one of my newer(ish being a little over 2 years old at this time) pieces. It was one of earliest and few attempts at taking a basic pencil-and-paper sketch, scanning it and then coloring it. As you can see... it turned out somewhat good. Shading though made me realize I could use A LOT of work at shading, and the highlights are even worse. Not only that but looking back at it I realize his wings are... not right. At all... maybe someday I'll go back and retry this drawing from the ground up, as a comparison to see how I've grown and changed.
