Okay, that's a pretty good feature to say the least as long as he can decide on his gender.
Wasn't really a fan of the previous chapter (even if well written and interesting the subject just wasn't for me), but this one was really good regarding the exposition and evolution description.
Awesome job on it.

Well okay, so there IS upsides to staying as a pokemon. Still doesn't tackle the trust issue, given that's generally a huge part of an effective pokemon team.

Maybe I'm just overthinking the situation, but none of them seem the least bit remorseful for forcing him into servitude *cough*teamrocket*cough*. It seems to me that none of them would think twice about outright turning him into a outright slave using the system they have in place if he doesn't accept it. Plus the technology the "trainer" (still undecided if he deserves that title, personally) is using would likely be made illegal without major modification to prevent abuse if anyone found out about it, let alone used it.

Interested in how this will turn out.
