Perhaps my final design of this ever changing critter.
His body structure, as previously stated, is dinosaurian (ie theropod in particular), hence the large pubic bone between his legs. YES, it would be painful for something like this to stand upright constantly, therefore he'd stand like this momentarily (as bears would do). Otherwise, he walks/moves as a theropod dinosaur would, body held horizontally.

And this concludes this bizarre episode of Wild America! *cues terrible horror music with screams of people running for their lives*
