First it's dominant kobolds, then trample-happy hooves, now bugs for stompin' on other 'bugs'.

Hehe, I adore small characters suddenly being big and powerful, so its really enjoyable for me to do that kind of thing <3 and hooves are fiendishly underused xP so happy to fill that hole too =]

Oh I wholeheartedly agree, on both counts.
Kobolds, Insects, and other naturally small creatures getting to turn the tables? Always relevant.
Hooves so eager to happily, merrily, mercilessly pummel someone beneath them? Can never have enough.

Funny enough insect are my #1 favorite species overall. Always such interesting, unique designs that change depending on who's drawing/modeling them, and they're always fun to see big, if simply by virtue of their intended prey being even smaller than they are.

Exactly ^-^ And very true. Insects allow you creativity with weird and interesting body shapes that look wrong on most other species, but look cool on them =] its nice
