Whew, Nightwick... at long last, my pony character has his own completed coloured reference.

Nightwick and Flashfire were among two of my first MLP characters. (My character Ellissa's Clover character being the very first, in 2009)
Despite this, I didn't feel confident in drawing MLP characters. Finally, I gave in and decided to draw MLP in my own style, rather than making it resemble the series too much. So I did ^^ I just made sure that the body type at least resembled that of the show's.

Nightwick's story is a bit under construction, so honestly he doesn't have a concrete storyline. The only thing I can say is, he was taken under the wing of Princess Luna to be a student of hers, similar to how Twilight Sparkle does her work for Princess Celestia. While working for Luna, he is given tasks to complete, often times requiring him to go out at evening and night hours, and observe the nightly habits and sleep habits and dreams of ponies and other animals. His data is in turn brought back to Luna, who in turn hopes to make the night a more comforting, peaceful and enjoyable place for everyone. Thanks to his dedication of work over the course of three years, Luna grants him a pair of wings to use for flying (as he was initially an Earth Pony prior) in order to assist him in completing his tasks ^^ Now Nightwick is an Earth Pony-gone-Pegasus Pony, and enjoying his aerial freedom. More lies in store for this pony's adventures, and who knows what we will come to expect?
