"Nadeshiko" is the name given to any Dianthus genus flower thus being a reference to the color pink, also meaning "lovable girl"; "Mura" means irregular or inconsistent. The "ko" on both Nadeshiko and Komura mean tiger.

It's not exactly a phase, I just finished watching it recently and I really liked it haha Great story with great characters!
Yup, I did her design all by myself. The only inspiration I took was from real life tigers facts and trivia when deciding what her quirk allows her to do or not! haha :3c

Yup, there are some "furry" characters even in the U.A. (let's not forget about Principal Nezu and Doghound!), so I thought it'd be alright to give her a mutant quirk type more animalistic-looking than Tsuyu's for example. Also because I think tigers are really beautiful with all their stripes!
