"As long as no injuries occur in our investigation, we can proceed as planned. But if making something happen requires risks, I will happily take it... for science of course."
Ah, Dr. Magnalin. A pain to work with, but I am glad that the payoff was worth it…
As a former IT investigator and co-worker with profesor Wiel Downar, he is notorious for over planning and sticks to it. He was difficult to manage since his way of working is rather unconventional. For someone that seems stubborn, he knew when the current plan is failing and knowing when to take risks. I needed someone who can get things done and efficiently, so bringing him in to work for Tyron Industries was a necessity. Thankfully, he soon adapted to our system and became a valuable individual to the cause. That doesn’t mean he wasn’t still a problem to manage, although he was less of a burden.
A few weeks later we found an unknown island that had appeared from our satellite. After careful planning we send a few of our best men, which includes Magnalin, to explore the area. I was surprised to see them returning with a fine specimen that was eager to be tested. The lamia demands were simple to comply, and spend the next few weeks in our facility. What interested me was how close she was with Dr. Magnalin. Was he the reason that Noria was keen to be examined? It didn’t seem so at first, since she was flirty with every man that she could get close with. Nonetheless, she spends more time with him than the rest of the crew after a few days, and the poor Magnalin want to escape from her grasp!
Since then, she does not want to cooperate with anyone. The only one she really wants to talk to was Magnalin. Due to this situation, I had to advice Magnalin to keep studying her despite not being keen with her attitude. It was a necessity after all, if we need progress in our study it has to be done by him. We had a meeting with the crew of the news and told them what needs to be changed. Every crew member in the project has to follow Magnalin’s directive till the analysis were done.
Days had passed since the meeting, and something odd happen with Magnalin. Comparing his first few days with the company, being with Noria soften him a bit, as he wasn’t as bad to work with. He was rather kinder to a degree and was even able to show significant progress with Noria. Once we had finished our analysis with had to set her free, but not without knowing that she will be living with Magnalin. With that revelation he appears to have some relationship despite their differences. Sure Noria physique had change drastically from the beginning of the study, but she was definitely happy being with Magnalin. After all, their DNA were compatible, so who knows how things play out in the future.
-Dr. Haxfold Ryan, head of the Tyron Industries
So this the scientist that Noria had a relationship. He his a weasel, something that I never drew before. He can be a tough at times, but seems to have a soft spot with Noria for some reason ;3
