I must say, I personally liked it more as they were just Mother and Son instead of a love couple.

I know they are still mother and son. What I meant was, that they have more of a parent and child relationship. It's just something I like too see when a Pokemon adopts a human child as their own.

Something like "The Jungle Book" or "Tarzan".

I liked that episode a lot. What could have been an interesting episode, would be the Episode were Ash is turned into a Pikachu, that huis Pikachu is teaching him how to be a Pikachu and treats him like a little brother or something. I think that would have been awesome!

There should really be more stories with Pokemon adopting Humans and raise them. Like with the Super Mystery Dungeon game. Not only is the Human turned into a Pokemon, but is (kinda) adopted by a Pokemon, send to school with other children and such.
