Warning, this drink is crazy sweet.
What You'll Need:
-1 cup water (or milk if you want it creamier)
-1 cup of your favorite liquid coffee creamer (any flavor will do, I used french vanilla)
-1 cup horchata (or vanilla almond milk)
-2 packages of generic instant hot chocolate mix (Swiss Miss, Hershey's, whatever)
-1/2 cup of dark chocolate morsels (or semi-sweet)
-1/2 cup of butterscotch morsels
-mini marshmallows
-1 boiling pan
-1 wooden stirring spoon
-1 plastic measuring cup
Step 1:
Start by pouring the water (or milk), coffee creamer, and horchata into the boiling pan and bring to a rapid boil. Once boiling, reduce to med-low heat.
Step 2:
Add the rest of the ingredients (except for the marshmallows) and continue to stir together for about 5 minutes or so until all of the morsels have melted. You'll know they've completely melted by scrapping the bottom of the pan with no scrapings left on the bottom.
Step 3:
Carefully pour your hot chocolate into a measuring cup or any non-glass liquid holding container with a spout. For best results, pour over the sink to avoid spilling and especially avoid burning yourself.
Step 4:
Fill a mug half full of marshmallows and without allowing time to cool, immediately pour your hot chocolate to the top. This will melt the marshmallows into a wonderful froth. Then allow time to cool before drinking or you will burn your face off. Enjoy with some festive Christmas cookies.

Do some of the marshmallows go in Step 2, or only Step 4?
