Dolman was a Warrior Beast introduced on Episode 34 of the Great Mazinger Anime – And oddity among the Mammalian Warrior Beasts, he seemed to have the body of a Bear, with the head of a Rhino with a Driller horn, and was adorn with missile spike on his shoulders. He had thin arms which held a spinning spiked wheel, which he could control at large distances.

After the damage sustained by Great Mazinger in his fight with Drayato, the Mikene Empire readies the next attack, by sending Mammalian General Rygern, along with the Warrior Beast Dolman – the two take off on the Mikelos. Meanwhile, Jun picks up Tetsuya from training, informing him the new plan for Great was now complete, unbeknownst to them Marquis Janus was listing. She rapidly hides from view as the Boss Borot shows up, patrolling the area, carrying a belt with Grenades and using the Crow as radar, Janus formulates a plan by using the Crow, releasing him from his bonds, and disguising herself as a beautiful woman, and The Crow, unable to say no to a pretty lady, accepts to spy for her in the lab. The Crow arrives and tags with Shiro to the meeting and, though arriving to it late, Prof. Kabuto eavesdrop the new plan for Great on both of them – two new combat moves called Rotating kick and the Spike Knee kick. Then Crow flies away to report to Janus, only to be betrayed by her as she informs General Rygern of the plan for Great, the Mikelos then flies towards Mount Fuji. The Crow is then scared beyond unconscious after seeing Janus' terrifying face. Mikelos is detected on Radar and the alarm is activated, The Scientists and the Boss Borot see the Mikelos fly by away from the lab, arousing suspicion of their actions, Jun is order to be ready for deployment while the Boss Borot runs to investigate first.

At Mount Fuji, Mikelos had landed on a lake and detected the approaching of the Borot, Rygern order Mikelos to submerge, Boss then tries to fish them out by throwing his Borot Grenades onto the lakes – Rygern orders Dolman into action and the Beast comes out after the second Grenade, and challenges Borot – Boss defends himself with his Grenades, but these have no effect on Dolman and it throws its wheel of Death, and the Mecha calls for an SOS towards the lad, Venus is launched to assist and arrives on time to deflect Dolman's Death Wheel with one of her missiles. Rygern orders Dolman to throw his wheel and to play dead, the Beast then jumps into the lake while the Spike Wheel keeps the Mechas occupied. Dolman then digs throw the lake on its way to the lab, the vibrations been detected on the Seismographs – the alarm is set out to the work force to speed up the new Upgrades on Great, Tetsuya is order to wait on the Brain Condor as Venus destroys the Spinning Wheel with her Optic Beams, Mikelos then takes off in direction to the Lab, Venus and Borot then run back to the Fortress.

The Upgrades on Great are done on time and Tetsuya enters into action, Rygern tries to stop him from joining with Great, but his attempts are block by the lab's defense weapons, and Great Mazinger is back in Action. Great repeals the Mikelos with a Thunder Break forcing it to retreat in a dive, Dolman comes out and breaches into the Base and attacks, Great dives fights Dolman, he then carries the Beast out of the water and the two to fight on the near by cliff: Dolman fires a missile, rattling Tetsuya for a moment, and then rams Great in a head on attack, Dolman tries to impale Great with the Driller horn, but is blocked and tossed by him just as Venus and Borot arrive – Tetsuya request to stay out as he would test the new upgrades.

Dolman charges and attempt to impale the Mecha with his right arm - Great grabs it, tosses the beast up the air and then Knee kicks Dolman, stabbing him in the stomach. Great Mazinger then finishes Dolman with a Rotating kick, decapitating the Beast – Rygern watches from a far as he sees the corpse of his Beast explode and is been laughed by Janus for his latest failure.

In the meantime Boss gets inspired and tries to do the rotating kick with Borot, but gets his foot stock on the mountain wall.

Dolman appeared in Mazinkaiser vs the Great General OVA, along with General Rygern, Teotras, Mammothdon and Archduke Gorgon, as they catch up to Koji and Sayaka in Siberia. All but Gorgon are dispose when Prof. Mori Mori launches a barrage of Missiles, killing Rygern and his Warrior Beasts as Koji and Sayaka escaped on a Jet. He still looked much like his Great Mazinger counterpart, but more Slicker, with Silver and Orange colors on his body.
