Well this may be interesting. Here Rex often tends to play the Alpha male which honestly there really isn't such a thing (It was a societal misunderstanding placed on a misunderstanding of biology and when the author tried to take away the book that popularized the idea no one listened) But anyway every alpha male is generally only an alpha in one area and tend to be a beta in another so this might be fun to see how he interacts with moving to a differing social enviornment
A biologist observed captive wolfs and then glanced at wild ones and came up with the idea of an alpha male. It became a Huge best seller and certain political affiliations especially latched onto the idea. Believing Oh hey this happens in nature the biggest worst mofo gets everything so that justifies me to be the Ahole who picks on dweebs. When the biologist did further research because he was so interested in the phenomenon he had discovered he eventually found out that his idea of an alpha male was BUNK. He never found any wild wolves with the trait that ever lasted especially in the way he thought it actually turned out he was looking at bonded wolves not dominant and submissive wolves. Now there are leaders of packs and such but more often then not individual wolves act as leaders in the in certain areas. Such as a leader for tracking a leader for the kill a leader for the den and so on. But when the biologist retracted his book well the idea was too prevalent in society. So he simply did https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WWaLxFIVX1s
