With the Running of the Leaves completed and Blaze going through a... transformation... evolution maybe? Blaze and Rainbow rested up back at RD's home, Cloudominium and Blaze tried to fly a little inside the Living Room. Rainbow noticed that Blaze was having trouble using his newly acquired wings as he kept crashing back down onto the floor. Rainbow decided to try and help teach Blaze how to fly so that they could soar through the skies together and possibly race each other as the pair can be very competitive with each other.

Blaze and Rainbow when to an open fiekd within Ponyville so Blaze has a lot of room to tryout his new wings... plus the grass is much softer to crash on than concrete as Blaze crashed a lot. Everyday Blaze and RD go out to the field to help Blaze learn to fly with the occasional visits from the rest of the mane 6 and other pony friends like Derpy & Lyra. Each day Blaze crashes less and less and after a good 3 weeks of training, Blaze is now soaring through the skies and only crashes a couple of times. Now, Blaze & RD are able to soar together while Blaze builds up his speed to get ready to race RD through the skies.
