Just a little thing I was thinking about for Decaf... First off, she seems to have some beef with her new glasses. HA, WRONG! Chicks with glasses are the sex, got it?
Also, she and Itreyu have been doing some drunken posting here, so I thought the "morning hangover" theme would be funny... I'm sure we all know those days, where it's way to goddamn bright outside, the coffee is only luke warm, and your brain is playing the drums on the inside of your skull.

EEEEhhhhh... I was at the calfur dinner... not this recent one, but the one before. Might've come to this last one, had I not been haning out with Scappo, Glaide and Icewolf. As for... like, REAL functions (ie: cons and meets and stuff) bbbbbrbbrbrbbrbbbbbb.... HHHHMmmmmmmmmm, I dunno. I'd need some serious convincing, and... ah, I don't know? It's also really late right now, so I might have to get back to you about that when I'm not so tired, k? k...
Oooh, man I hate hangovers too... When I was 18 I could drink myself stupid and not feel a thing, but now, 3 short years later, wow. If I mix any amounts of beer and hard liquour, bam, I'm toast, and even if I don't I have to be real careful. There's actually an alcoholic allergy that runs in the family, I think I have a touch of that because my hangovers are just... well, I won't get into it.

Yeah, I did throw the background out of focus... As it was, the window panes and the table were attracting too much attention for being background details, so I sharpened up decaf and a few other bright foreground details and softened up the background a little. Almost a shame to do because there was some lovely brushwork back there, but it just didn't fit the overall piece.

WOOOOOOW O.O the colors... the shades... it's so warm and deep...! I can practically smell the coffee intermixed with the distant sounds of clanking cutlery and rushing machinery of the kitchen. This scene depicts something real; a slice of life...

Dude this is like, INCREDIBLE. The color gives the whole feel to a hangover.. spilling coffee and crashing your head down on the table to catch some sleep but cant because of the awesome headache and pressure in the eyes =p

Haha OOOOH, I get it. HMM, if you feel like throwing down something I sure won't stop you :D And if you do, I have no specific requests. I just like seeing what you can come up with on your own.

Ok... Lesse here. How about something with a blue and green base and some orange thrown in there. And feel free to interpret the colors how ever you want, throw in something else if you think it needs it. I guess of anything it can say Spigot, or Clav (clavicula is latin for spigot I think...) unless you have a better idea for what it should say. Or it can even just be an abstract design, that would be cool too...

If ya wanna force yourself into painting, make a picture without drawing it first. That means especially NO OUTLINES!! You have to build everything out of shapes of color and then start adding detail and lighting. That's the BASICS of it.... Give it a try someday!

Haha, I'm really really liking glasses... I never used to, but not too long ago I started going crazy for em! My eyesight is slipping a little, and I'm actually not flipping out about the possibility of having to get glasses one day. I mean, it will suck that my eyes suck, but I'll get to wear glasses! YES!
This is without question one of most singularly beautiful things I've ever encountered on FA. The lighting through the window, the spilled coffee -- everything captures that ubiquitous slice of college life perfectly.
Seriously, if this made my week (and it did) I can't imagine how floored Decaf must've been seeing it for the first time. :p
