What happens between Wailord and Skitty is none of the State's business
Hey guys, this weekend some butthurt action gamers will leave their basement dwellings to protest against senile, warmongering ministers who wish to make it impossible to both produce and distribute warmongering "killer games" in corporate Tschörmenie. In order to add to the ridicule the participating gamers are supposed to just bring their filthy, germ-ridden keyboards along. This is supposed to draw an analogy to the fake militia plays of the drunkard German philistines who may sport their mostly harmless rifles in their fake military parades.
But still, seeing as how these action gamers will only be the beginning of the continuing illegalisation of video games by divide and conquer methods, I took my form of protest a few steps further:
You see, Pokémon is way too popular these days to make it completely illegal without causing nationwide outcries. Yet we do have new nifty pieces of passed legislation that forced Nintendo to make a special European version of Pokémon Platinum. In accordance to European restrictions on gambling, the slot machines of Veilstone's Game Corner had to be replaced.
Making it impossible for Wailord and Skitty to breed together EU-wide will only be a matter of time, once they will have been made aware of the fictional intercourse between fantasy whales and fantasy kittens, and it won't be long before our demented ministers will propose Pokémon Breeding Laws.
Without my cultural context, the mere thought of that happening sounds ridiculous, but we are dealing with senile, old, technophobe, ignorant men here, who stopped to show interest in technology as soon as the roller pen had been invented. But yet at the same time these ministers show compassion towards human-seeming stacks of unintelligent pixels and grant them human rights. In fact they grant these pixels a lot more human rights than real humans, which is what really makes all their nonsensicalhuffing and puffing against the so-called "killer games" unbearable.
