can you tell me what this is?
after I have finished page 16 of my mother´s comic today, I took myself some free time and so I let my hand sketch whatever come to my mind. After 2 minutes (no kidding) this creature came to life on paper. I inked it and I thought to myself. What kind of creature is this? I honestly had no intention to draw this certain design. I was almost like Schmendryk the wizard in the last unicorn when he said: Magic, do what you want!
Do you have any ideas or suggestions on what I have drawn here?^^

That's a Chlamy! It's a distant relative to the Krenshar.
A bipedal, sapient species, Chlamys have considerable mass in their legs, which helps them run and makes them strong kickers.
Their upper bodies are actually somewhat slender and lack strength; to compensate for this, however, Chalmys have very fluffy fur on their arms and manes which make them look much bigger than they actually are, and very scary skull faces, useful for scaring away predators from their villages.
While intelligent, Chlamys struggle with complex concepts, and have difficulty comprehending metaphysics, immaterial concepts, and inventions that don't exist yet.
Thus, until encounters with other intelligent species, Chlamys were somewhat limited to stone-age hunter-gatherer cultures; this had led to them being stereotyped as a primitive, 'noble savage' race.
This particular Chlamy, well integrated with civilization by now, is an athletic trainer who plays up a muscular warrior/gladiator image, helping others run, stretch, and otherwise exercise their way to health and happiness.
He's skilled at Quay Tendo, the Chlamy martial art that takes full advantage of their concealing fluff and powerful legs, and often demonstrates his kicks and evasive maneuvers to excite the students he's exercising.

One of the few sapient alien species encountered during the early period of human exploration and colonisation of the wider galaxy, the V'Sharl despite their unusual appearance are also the ones that closest resemble humanity. Any such resemblance is purely convergent evolution, though there are certain biological similarities to mammalians it is believed they evolved from an arachnid-like creature, the fur being formed from a chitin-like substance rather than deriving from keratin. As well as insulation and temperature regulation, this fur also serves as the primary sensory organ discerning vibrations, olfactory and auditory functions and as a secondary tactile receptor. Aside from this touch serves as the primary sense, the strong but dextrous fingers possessing manual dexterity comparable to humans, though with sensitivity greatly exceeding that of humans. Though near-sighted, the V'Sharl have a form of echolocation via clicks produced by the hidden beak functioning in a similar manner to a bat, as here demonstrated by the young V'Sharl male whom has located a mouse hiding under a stone.
The strangest characteristic of a V'Sharl is the apparent lack of head, mainly due to the shaggy mane of fur covering the braincase and shoulder region. Said head comprises mainly a narrow beak with breathing slits, a triple row of small eyes and sonar organ. This V'Sharl demonstrates a currently popular fashion, wearing a skull of an animal over the beak, in this case a R'Hok Hound, a canine-like creature distantly related to the V'Sharl, most likely a beloved pet and worn in memory and honour of his companion. With the general V'Sharl curiosity and empathy, it is likely he may adopt this mouse as his new pet. V'Sharl attempts to adopt humans have been generally unsuccessful.
Capable of bipedal motion when needing to free the hands for manipulation, the V'Sharl are more comfortable in a quadrupedal gait, primary locomotion provided by the powerful arms, and are proficient climbers and swimmers. The tail serves primarily as a balancing organ, though the plume is believed to have served for display purposes in earlier ancestors. Clothing is generally minimal aside from loincloths, or decorative jewellery, the fur providing adequate temperature regulation and sexual characteristics primarily internal. Generally they are equal parts amused and bemused by the human tendency to cover up.
In appearance the V'Sharl can appearance primitive and intimidating but are of a comparable level of intelligence and technological capacity to humanity, with a recorded history stretching back perhaps eighteen thousand years though had shown not developed space travel before first contact was made. Emotionally and mentally they are remarkably similar to humans, generally characterised by a high level of curiosity, compassion and playfulness, albeit boisterous and with a sense of humour best described as puckish.
V'Sharl fur has been described as silky in texture and though it is considered polite to ask permission, they are receptive to being stroked, the forearms and mane considered the preferred areas. The general V'Sharl greeting of mock-wrestling can be alarming, though they have picked up on the handshake with some enthusiasm, though attempts to discourage them after their discovery of the practise of 'arm-wrestling' are so far proving unsuccessful.

an awesome character description. This could be out of a school book used in an academy or university at a time, the human race has allready entered space and visited and met with other speies.
Let´s hope at that time, the humans dark side like greed for money, economic enterprises and powerthurst have gone away finally
