I've been in a factory mood in recent times, and got inspired to redraw an old piece I had drawn back in 2011. Back before I had a tablet, when I just scanned pictures and fiddled with the settings in Photoshop to create my lines, and then coloured afterwards. It's pretty archaic in comparison to what I can do now, ha ha.

My love for factories, industrial settings, and the stereotypical notion of factories being associated with bad guys and evil probably came from when I played Donkey Kong Country 1 and 3 growing up. Both games feature industrial worlds with factory levels, Kremkroc Industries from the 1st game especially standing out to me, with the iconic smoke stacks I've attributed such locations to. Final Fantasy VI also played a big part in all this too, the Magitek Factory furthering my love with its unique environment and awesome music, especially with the various mechanical sounds which accompany the main tune.

My love for factories controlled by those with sinister intentions ultimately blossomed into a particular location on my fantasy world. A peninsula, a valley, lined with factories and mines, gathering and processing resources for a greater power. But among them, one particular facility stands out. One which differs from the others regarding what kind of resources it melts down and processes. Is this one before us that particular facility?
