The contest is over and I tied with  Cobalt_Raccoon!

I drew this to celebrate - it's me on the right and Rusty on the left walking away with the trophy (it was before I saw the actual trophy) in costumes based on our respective winning stories. We're inside the "Victory Pumpkin"!

The left side is based on Rusty's story, "Player Two". It's about a mysterious lightning storm striking a house, trapping a hapless college student inside his favorite childhood video game and forcing his best friend to take control of him and play through the game in order to get him out.

The right side is based on my story, "Horror-Suit". It's about a fursuiter at a bowling-alley furmeet who is outraged after learning the story of a recently-deceased fursuiting adulterer, and, after leaving the group for a bit of fresh air, becomes targeted by the unfaithful fursuiter's ghost.

The runner-up, "In Sleep There's Truth", is also very good... and it has scalies in it :) It's about a psychiatrist who uses hypnosis to find out why her court-ordered client, a quiet and mild-mannered chameleon, brutally attacked his own sister.

Anyway there's some TV Guide descriptions for the stories. I had a lot of fun writing a story this year and the competition was pretty stiff!
