Himari, or Sunny as her close friends call her, is a very traditional woman and more often than not prefers to wear a kimono so it's a rare sight to see her wearing more common clothing even while going out. She comes across as a bit of a ditz most of the time but this is more of an act as she's actually fairly intelligent but due to her traditional side she humbles herself. When she actually has a solution to one of her friends problems she always manages to spin it in such a way to make her firends believe they themselves came up with the solution.

On weekdays Himari runs a daycare as she adores kids but her real dream is to open a traditional Japanese tea house but she fears she would miss the children too much to make that dream come through. On of the things she particularly enjoys is making little bento boxes for the children and seeing their faces light up as they see her little food figures each day. While she is not looking after children she also teaches Shodo ( zen caligraphy )

One of her weaknesses are sweets, particularly sweet rolls and mochi, the other is being scratched behind the ears which she enjoys way more than she dares to admit and gets embarassed about, though not as embarassed as having her tail stroked which her friends sometimes tease her with to watch her squirm for a bit (all in good fun ofcourse, not to be mean to her.)
