Boo Berry Cupcakes

I originally wanted to make all 3 monster cereals, but Boo Berry was the only one I could find :/
What You'll Need:
-2 cups (give or take) of Boo Berry cereal
-1 box of super moist white/vanilla cake (and all it's needed ingredients, using 1/4 cup extra of the water and oil)
-frosting (vanilla)
-1 large ziplock bag
-1 muffin tin
-paper muffin cups
Step 1:
Pour the 2 cups of cereal into a bowl and separate the marshmallows. Set them aside for now. Place the cereal bits into the ziplock bag and crush it up into dust with a tenderizing mallet. (If you don't have one, use your hands or something hard and blunt.) Also set aside for now.
Step 2:
Mix the cake mix, then pour the bag of ceral dust into the mix. Remember to use 1/4 cup over the water and oil as the dust makes the batter very dry. Mix well until batter has turned a light purple.
Step 3:
Place paper cups into the muffin tin and fill each cup with 1 ice cream scoop full of batter. When all tins are full, place 2 marshmallows on top (or more depending on how many marshmallows you were able to fish out) of the batter, push them in just a bit.
Step 4:
Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes. Top with frosting and one cereal piece on top. Cupcakes will still be a bit on the dry side, goes best with a tall glass of milk.
I used just a basic vanilla frosting, but if anyone were to recreate this recipe I'd recommend a marshmallow frosting or even just marshmallow fluff if you know how to make it. I'd also recommend strawberry cake for Franken Berry and chocolate cake for Count Chocula.

OP
They officially discontinued "Fruit Brute" and "Yummy Mummy" but you can usually find Boo Berry, Franken Berry, and Count Chocula in stores around Halloween. I found them at Wal-Mart so I'd start there. But my store had them almost completely gone by the time I got this.
