Ranger lays down the law about what will be happening and Arrowhead agrees to play along for the greater good. Will they work together smoothly or continue to fight?

Sounds like to me like if Ranger gets in the way of Arrowhead the smoothness may go right out the door. Just guessing from her thoughts. ^_~

To unregistered heroes. A soldier like Ranger with superpowers is considered rigid and inflexible.

Well lets hope it works out. I look at Arrowhead and think she and Wolverine are a great deal alike in thier personalities.

Sometimes the love of control is more than the love of the right thing. Ranger is saying her way or the highway. Arrowhead should kick her to the highway and rescue the kids herself.

That'd be easier said then done, and besides, there has to be some control, its like what Train up there said, recklessness can get people killed.

this is true, too. So can horseplay. I admit strict Authoritarians trigger my rebel response almost immediately.
and Ranger seems to be someone I would not like.

To a lot of people, Ranger is not someone they would like. But in a fight or a situation like this. You would want her around watching your back. She'll watch people's back. The problem is Ranger doesn't know Arrowhead and vice versa.

Ranger will not fight someone if she has reason to believe to trust them.

Now that I think about it, it's only appropriate seeing the contrast in their attire: strict militant (vs.) peaceable native. =P

Somewhat moronic observation, if Ranger's walking ahead of Arrowhead then why isn't she the one who triggers the trip wire on the next page?

Other then that, very nice. You can cut through the tension with a knife here. Have to side with Arrowhead on this one but that's just me personally.

For one, they haven't even gotten to it.

For a lot of people may not like Ranger but she has her points. Plus if anything happens to those kids. Ranger and only Ranger is going to be held responsible.
