One of my favorite urban legends comes from London, existing since Victoria's reign and still existing nowadays. Jack would be a man, in dark clothes and with red eyes, fangs and metal claws and able to breath fire who was sometimes attacking people making them bleed with his fangs and claws or faint with his fire, or running extremely fast or as his name says it jump very far and high probably thanks to some mecanism in his shoes.
Whether he be real or not, I like to imagine it's a mad scientist and a male ghoul (reminder ghouls are NOT female ghosts despite what we all say, try are their own species) with steampunk-like clothes and technology.
