Well for these I've been using one o' them Pigma Micron pens, the 05 size. I like it because the ink dries almost immediately on the paper so I don't have to worry about smudging, and you can also use it to do sort of half-tones by holding the pen at an angle and doing quick strokes.
But of course the half-circle in the background was done with a sharpie :v
