I agree, and unfortunately I've never been able to identify what it is! For a simple picture like this, I guess I could say it's something about the irregularity of the line art. To me, digital lines often look too "neat," if that makes sense.

I dunno... I mean the clips do kind of tell a story. It'l like, "I washed my ears and I can't do a thing with them." Better yet, perhaps this poor lapine lass was mistaken for a stuffed toy and just escaped from the clothes line?

Honestly I never had a reason for putting those things on her ears in the first place, other than "why not?" But I have to admit like your stuffed toy idea, that was pretty clever!
