An old film camera I found in the attic.

Circa the late 1960's this is the first useful SLR from Canon.

It's in working shape, though the mirror spring probably needs replaced as it stays up about 20% of the time.

It's not for sale though, sorry.

My dad has a Canon that's about that age, and I have a Pentax that's the same age.

You can't destroy those things, they're great.

Yup, weighs more without the lens than my DSLR with the kit lens.

And the FT doesn't have any batteries for operation (has a small mercury battery for metering).
